Contacting Cuddle Bug Baby Products

We strive to produce the highest quality baby accessories, made with the finest materials and workmanship available. Unfortunately, regular laundering as well as the daily use of our products are tough on any fabric-based item. A well-loved and well-used Blanket or Burpie will show the natural signs of wear and tear like any cloth product. However, with proper care and laundering, we believe that your Cuddle Bug Baby Product can be used and enjoyed throughout your child’s early years and beyond.

As with any baby product, we strongly recommend pre-washing your Cuddle Bug Baby Products before giving to baby. We do not pre-wash our fabrics or trims. Therefore, it is possible that dirt and fabric finishing residue may still be on the fabrics. Launder according to the specific product laundering instructions below, and your product will be fresh and ready for baby! Note that starting with the very first laundering, the trims and fabrics (especially terry cloth) will soften significantly.

Cuddle Bug Security Blankets and Cuddle Bug Bibs are made of three very different fabrics:
   100% cotton terry cloth
   100% cotton flannel
   100% polyester satin ribbon and/or binding
All of these fabrics are made in the USA and should be colorfast if laundered according to our directions.

Wash using very mild detergent and cold water. We do not recommend using any bleach (either regular chlorine or non-chlorine) or significant fading of colors could occur.

We also do not recommend the use of specialty baby detergents such as Dreft®. Our testing showed that these products cause bleeding of colors in some isolated cases.

Over time and with heavy laundering, some fading of fabric and trim colors will naturally occur, even if bleaching products are not used. Unfortunately, the chlorine levels of most municipal water supplies are such that this is inevitable (like jeans fading over time).

Like any terry cloth or satin product, Cuddle Bug Security Blankets are susceptible to snagging. This is especially true if the products come in contact with or are laundered with any items using Velcro® (for example, bibs). Wash any items using Velcro separately from the Blankets.

Also over time and with heavy use, some snagging of the terry cloth side of Cuddle Bug Blankets may occur. This is characteristic of the fabric and can not be avoided. Having slightly longer threads should not mar the functionality of the product, but can be snipped off if they become too long or bothersome.

Cuddle Bug Burpies are made of:
   100% cotton prefold diapers, with a 100% polyester center     
   foam pad
   100% polyester satin ribbon & binding
All of these fabrics are made in the USA and should be colorfast if laundered according to our directions.

Wash using very mild detergent and cold water. We do not recommend using any bleach (either regular chlorine or non-chlorine) or fading of colors could occur. We do not recommend the use of specialty baby detergents such as Dreft®. Our testing showed that these products caused bleeding of colors in some isolated cases.

Cuddle Bug Muffin Hats are made of:
   100% cotton interlock fabric or
   100% polyester fleece or
   100% polyester satin or
   100% cotton eyelet
All of these fabrics are made in the USA and should be colorfast if laundered according to our directions.

Wash using very mild detergent and cold water. We suggest turning hats inside out before laundering. All hats may be tumble dried, using a low heat setting. We do not recommend using any bleach (either regular chlorine or non-chlorine) or fading of colors could occur. We do not recommend the use of specialty baby detergents such as Dreft®. Our testing showed that these products caused bleeding of colors in some isolated cases.
